England is the current champion of the U-20 FIFA World Cup after defeating their Venezuelan counterpart in the final which ended with 1-0.

Nigerians became more interested in England team after discovering that six Nigerians were part of the team which made the winning possible.

The World Cup win in Korea was England’s first international trophy of any king when Sir Alf Ramsey led the nation to the 1966 World Cup trophy.
